Jaeson Ma has really blown up all over the place online. His stories are captivating and his passion is contagious. He’s an ABC celebrity of faith. Can’t wait to hear more about the ways the Spirit leads him.
Here’s a recent short video that tells an incredible story of how he almost never came to be but…
I Am Whole Life is a campaign to promote “the intrinsic dignity of the human person”

My interview with Leroy Barber and Jeff Shinabarger for MissionYear. I recently conspired with the two to bring a Gift Card Party to Philadelphia highlighting some orgs doing good stuff in West Philly. Love what these guys are all about and what they’re doing. I’m hoping to bring MissionYear to Chinatown one day soon.
MC Jin. BET 106 & Park Battles. Double R. One Album. 2Fast 2Furious. Now?
Living in Hong Kong rolling with Jaeson Ma. Loving the evolution of Jin.
This video released last month answers a lot of questions. Christian? MC? Christian MC?
You decide.
Can’t wait to see what the Spirit has tagged Jin to do next.
Deidox produces some high quality short films that tell the redemptive and transforming work of God in and through everyday people. I’ve really appreciated their work and the two guys behind it, @DaveMahanes and @BrentGudgel. This Wednesday Deidox will launch the story of Li Yang and the Underground Church in China. Really looking forward to it.
Live webcast on Wednesday, Oct. 21st at 9:00AM PST followed by a Q&A with the Deidox director (Brent) and producer (Dave).
The film is 5 minutes in length and the Q&A will last about 20-25 minutes.

Last weekend I had the honor of being interviewed by DJChuang for the L2 Foundation Blog to discuss in short being an ABC Pastor in a Chinese Church. It was my first encounter with a Flip cam. I want one now.

If you haven’t seen it yet, YOU MUST!
This T-Mobile myFaves commercial features Dwayne Wade, Charles Barkley and Yao Ming.
It had me ROTFL.
Some thoughts:
What does this tell us about culture?
What about Third Culture (The mindset and will to love, learn, and serve in any culture. Even in the midst of pain and discomfort. -- Dave Gibbons)?
I’m a 12er. Well, kinda. Less than a n00bie at 12ing but find it fascinating. I’ve only done two 12s so far.
Now if you don’t know what I’m talking about I’m referring to 12seconds, a free video microblogging site kinda like twitter but with 12seconds of video. If you don’t know what twitter is then fuggetaboutit.
You get 12 seconds. That’s it.
Use your web cam, MacBook/Pro (built-in) or mobile phone and broadcast your life.
Why only 12seconds? They’ll tell you that anything longer is boring. They’re getting closer to a public beta and like the beginnings of Gmail they’re slowly dishing out invites to join but this weekend 12ers have an unlimited amount of invites to give out.
Well not exactly.
If you have no clue what I’m referring to, Numa Numa or “Dragostea din tei” by O-Zone was a major hit a few years ago abroad. It really came to fame here in the US through a viral video showing what a teenager with time, imagination, a smash hit and a webcam can do. And so we have the Numa Numa Dance.
You’ll know it when you hear it.
But anyways a smart animated video on Tudou has tranliterated the Romanian words into Chinese.
Now do the Numa Numa dance. You know you want to.
It’s Monday. Do it.
Thanks to Danny at NewPointe Community Church who provided us a link to the interview they conducted during their service with Tom Hsieh. Enjoy!
